Richard Mille and Rafael Nadal
Richard Mille and Rafael Nadal's collaboration began within 2008. Forged by a discussed pursuit of perfection and limitations, this relationship transcended an easy business partnership and grown into a deep friendship.
In 2010, the RM 027 Tourbillon, the first piece using this collaboration, was released. A rugby watch, it featured the titanium tourbillon, an ALUSIC® alloy case, and a graphite baseplate, making it the planet's lightest mechanical tourbillon view at the time. Since then, the two spouses have released several much more collaborative watches, including the RM 27-01, RM 27-02, RM 27-03, RM 27-04, as well as RM 27-05. These timepieces continue to innovate in terms of lightness and impact resistance. Like the RM 27-01 may be the first to place the motion in a suspended manner down the middle of the case, the RM 27-02 adopts an innovative " one-piece" hollow baseplate, the RM 27-03's tourbillon movement may withstand the impact of ten, 000g acceleration, the RM 27-04 adopts a metal cable-suspended movement device, and also the RM 27-05 can endure the impact of acceleration going above 14, 000g, setting any double record for guide tourbillon watches.
